ABOUT THE YK716 LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

The Youth Leadership Academy provides youth ages 14-18 with the unique opportunity to engage in social and community change in collaboration with local organizations. The Academy starts with an exciting 4-week certificate program that builds leadership and community engagement skills. Upon completion of this program, youth can further enrich their skills by joining our dynamic  Youth Advisory Council. This council will have the opportunity to amplify the youth voice in the city of Buffalo NY. Graduates of the academy can include their certificate on resumes,scholarships and applications to colleges, trade schools and more.
